Point Calculation and Categorization

Tata Tiscon values the contribution of their dealer family. In recognition of their undying efforts, the brand has charted out a segmentation exercise of their dealers.

Premium Dealers:
  • Platinum
  • Gold
  • Silver

The Advantages:

  1. Prioritizing the segmented dealers for resource allocation
  2. Granting of bonus points on Atoot Rishtey
  3. Segment-wise dealer foreign trips (Premium: First Slab, Gold: Second Slab, Silver: Third Slab)
  4. Insurance benefits to Platinum & Gold dealers
Star Dealers:
  • 5 Star
  • 3 Star

Types of Points

Base Points-Base points will be calculated on the basis of purchases made by Dealers in tons. Each ton of bars purchased will be multiplied by 200. For Instance: If a Dealers purchases 10 tons of Tiscon bars in June 2019, he will earn 10 x 200= 2000 base Points for the month of June.
Bonus Points-Bonus Points are of 3 types as listed and described below:

  1. 6MM Purchase Bonus-Purchase of 6MM Tiscon bars in the total volume purchased will lead to accrual of extra 50% of the total points earned on the purchase of 6MM bars
  2. Segment Bonus-Since Dealers are divided in to segments based on their purchase, they will receive a certain percentage of the base points as Bonus points. Higher segments are entitled to higher bonus percentage of Segment Bonus points. (See table below for segment wise Bonus percentage)
  3. Category Bonus-There are 3 categories, namely Star (3 Star and 5 Star), Premium (Silver, Gold and Platinum) and Exclusive (all other Dealers who are not in any segment). There is no category Bonus for Star and Premium Dealers as they receive the segment bonus but Exclusive Dealers receive an additional 20% of total base points as Category Bonus. (Refer to Table below)
Point Reversal-As the name suggests, it refers to the number of points which have been revered to your account (part of monthly point statement)
Points Redeemed-The points which have been redeemed against rewards, gift card or vouchers of your choice (part of monthly point statement)
Point Calculation (Base and Bonus)The point calculation and earning has 2 different aspects to it-Base Points (based on purchase of TMT bars per ton) and Bonus Points. There are 3 types of Bonus Points which add up to the Base points and constitute the Monthly point accumulation for each member or Dealer. Below are the tables explaining and defining the way points will be credited to your account. Every Dealer’s opening points for the new month will be the previous month’s Closing points.

*Please note that the figures (total points accrued per month) will vary based on the purchase of each Dealer. The above numbers are provided for your reference.

Closing Points of the Current Month
The closing points of the current month will comprise of Opening points, Points Accrued (Total points accumulated based on registered sales during the month and points reversed) subtracted by the number of points redeemed during the month.
For Instance, if the opening points for the month of June 2019 is 5000, the point conversion post registration of your sales is 20000 and points reversed from a previous transaction is 500 and the points redeemed during this month is 10000, then the closing points for the month of June 2019 will be [5000+(20000+5000)-10000]20000 points.
